The FBA continues to
offer Sweepstakes as an event at our Fall Circuit. This
competition is open to dogs from 3 to 12 months of age. There
are two age groups - 3 - 6 months in Puppy Class ($10.00 entry
fee) and 6 - 12 months ($20.00 entry fee) in the Novice Class. A
licensed judge serves as the evaluator.
This activity provides
an additional opportunity for ring experience for both the dogs
and their handlers. Entry in the regular conformation classes is
not required, but certainly encouraged. A win in the Sweepstakes
may actually mean the return of the entry fee and earning extra
funds as well. So, that $10 or $20 could provide not just fun,
but possibly a return on your investment.
The Best in Sweepstakes
winner is awarded $25.00 and a trophy. Additional cash
prizes are given for placements. The FBA keeps a portion of the
entry fees to pay for the trophies and awards and the rest is
returned to the winning entrants.
